Test VP9 video decoders compliance
Allegro DVT compliance bitstreams are designed for intensive testing of VP9 decoder implementations.
VP9 codec is a royalty-free, high-efficient video compression technology developed by the Google-sponsored WebM Project. It offers increased compression efficiency that enables next generation online streaming services with resolutions up to 4K (e.g. YouTube) and WebRTC-based video conferencing applications.
Syntax streams ensure that decoders abide by all features of VP9 compression standard, including corner cases.
VP9 syntax streams Profile 0 (8-bit depth, 4:2:0 chroma sampling) Multiple resolutions up to 8K@60fps |
VP9 syntax streams Profile 2 (10-bit depth, 4:2:0 chroma sampling) Multiple resolutions up to 8K@60fps |
